PCP (phencyclidine), often called "angel dust," was originally a patented drug developed by the Parke-Davis pharmaceutical company. Technically, PCP is a "disassociative anesthetic," causing hallucinations, motor disorder, delerium, a rapid heart rate and altered body temperature. Some experts believe PCP causes Olney's Lesions, a kind of brain damage.
